The Light projection 'Zaandam' celebrates the industry in the Zaanstreek, an area close to Amsterdam, along the river 'de Zaan'.

The façade of the historical industrial building the Phenix was used as a canvas for the light projection 'Zaandam' (2015/16 | 6'). The light needed to cross the 100 meters width of the river De Zaan, which was a technical challenge. A combination of analogue PANI projection techniques and digital mapping was used.
